TN Certified Pre-Apprenticeships allow employers, educators, communities, associations, and organizations to develop and implement quality training programs, which help prepare individuals to enter into Registered Apprenticeship Programs. Certified Pre-Apprenticeships are primarily operated through K-12, post-secondary, and adult education providers. They could involve an educational component with aligned credential opportunities and/or work-based experiences which could articulate for credit toward the aligned RAP.

The Tennessee Recovery Oriented Compliance Strategy (TN-ROCS) Program is a specialized court docket that serves the criminal justice population that have medium risk factors for re-offending and medium to high needs for substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders, and that do not meet criteria for recovery court. The judge provides frequent accountability and supervision through participant court appearances and can leverage the court to offer incentives and sanctions to participants. A program administrator works directly with the court system to provide screenings and assessments to determine appropriate linkage to substance abuse/behavioral health treatment and other community and recovery supports. The TN-ROCS Program utilizes evidence-based interventions such as Case Management, Assessments and Screenings, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

The Tobacco Use Prevention & Control Program (TUPCP) administers, promotes, and evaluates programs and initiatives that prevent initiation and support tobacco cessation across the state. Public and private sector organizations partner to implement programs including community and youth engagement, policy development, the Tennessee Tobacco QuitLine, and the prenatal smoking cessation program. All programs are free to all Tennesseans and prevent youth initiation and support cessation attempts among the state’s nearly one million smokers.

The Tourism Marketing, Outreach, and Visitor Engagement program aims to increase the state's economic viability and support the growth of tourism in all 95 counties, helping make Tennessee the 11th highest state for direct visitor spending. It does that by inspiring travel, developing programs, digital campaigns, and enhancing industry partnerships which drive job creation, visitor spending, tax revenue and new investments. In doing this, communities have more revenue to support their needs and, as a result, we help enrich the quality of life for every Tennessean.

The Office of Training and Professional Development for Foster Families offers learning opportunities that support adoptive, foster, and kinship parents in their efforts to provide a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for the children in their care. Examples of training include: TN Key, Preventing Suicide among Foster Care Youth, Creating Normalcy through Prudent Parenting, Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking, Medical Resources and Information, CPR/First Aid, Working with Birth Parents & Visitation, and Working with the Education System.

The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) Training Program aims to facilitate a continuous professional development cycle for all state emergency management professionals. This ongoing process aims to equip individuals with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA) to effectively prepare for, mitigate, respond to, manage, and recover from disasters or emergencies that may impact the jurisdiction. Utilizing the Threat Hazard Identification Risk Assessment / State Preparedness Review (THIRS/SPR) process, the program, prioritizes capabilities and addresses identified gaps to tailor training needs accordingly.

The Transportation Alternatives Program supports federally funded, community-based projects that expand travel choices and enhance the transportation experience by integrating modes and improving the cultural, historic, and environmental aspects of our transportation infrastructure. Examples of TAP projects include Americans-with-Disability-Act upgrades, the creation of bicycle and pedestrian facilities that make getting to school safer for children, streetscape improvements, refurbishment of historic transportation facilities and other investments that enhance communities, connections, and access.

Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is provided to children with a known trauma history who are experiencing significant posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms, whether or not they meet full diagnostic criteria. Children with depression, anxiety, and/or shame related to their traumatic exposure, and children experiencing childhood traumatic grief can also benefit from the treatment.

The Tuberculosis Elimination Program provides surveillance, oversight of case management activities and contact investigations, training and education, procurement of anti-tuberculosis medications, and fiscal oversight to health departments throughout the state of Tennessee. Program staff work collaboratively with regional and local health department TB staff to ensure screening, testing, and treatment of individuals with suspected or confirmed active TB disease and TB infection.

The Unemployment Insurance program provides weekly unemployment insurance payments for workers who experience disruptions in work and meet the eligibility requirement of the program.

The Uninsured Adult Healthcare Safety Net Program provides primary care, dental, behavioral/mental health care, and specialty care access to uninsured adults ages 19 to 64 across Tennessee. The program is delivered through Federally Qualified Health Centers, community and faith-based providers, and care coordination service providers.

Provides a registry containing the names and addresses of unlicensed facilities that have been determined by a state agency to be providing care to elderly or vulnerable persons without maintaining the appropriate licensure under state law. The registry is publicly available, and any individual can submit concerns regarding a potentially unlicensed facility. Additionally, education regarding facility licensure is provided on an ongoing basis.
