Program Description

The federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I program is administered by the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development and implemented through local workforce development areas/boards, organizations, and the American Job Center Network. The program is intended to support and provide job training and a range of related employment, education, and training related services to unemployed and underemployed individuals.
