Program Description

Rebuilding Public Infrastructure is a suite of grant opportunities for state and local governments, certain non-profit organizations, and Indian tribes. Eligible grant projects are designed to assist communities in returning to a pre-disaster condition and functionality as soon as possible. Projects under these grants could include disaster-caused emergency work, such as debris removal and emergency protective measures. Additional projects include permanent work repair of roads and bridges, buildings, utilities, and more. Specific grant programs include the Public Assistance Program and the Fire Management Assistance Grant Program.
