Program Description
Motorcycling can be a thrilling and challenging experience, but the safe operation of a motorcycle requires practiced skill and knowledge. The Motorcycle Rider Education program provides rider education and training courses, including two intensive courses – one for beginners and the other for more experienced riders. Courses cover universal motorcycle helmet laws, which are evidence-based. Students who successfully complete a course receive a completion card and a certificate. Those applying for a Tennessee Motorcycle License who have completed either training course who pass the vision test and pay the required fee will have their license skills and knowledge tests waived.
