Program Description
The TN Ignition Interlock Program allows certain individuals with driving under the influence (DUI) convictions to obtain a restricted driver’s license, permitting them to drive vehicles equipped with an ignition interlock device (IID). Effective and efficient implementation of this program is part of the state’s efforts to promote highway safety and save lives.
