The Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant provides flexible, core funding for prevention and health promotion activities in Tennessee. Substance Use Recovery Education (SURE)

This program provides services incorporating Hazelden evidenced-based curriculum to female offenders with a history of substance use disorders at the Women’s Therapeutic Residential Center. Recipients are identified for services by utilizing the STRONG R Assessment, Texas Christian University Drug Screen Tool, and any other collateral information that suggest addiction treatment and recovery services are needed.
