Ag Growth Initiative

The Ag Growth Initiative is a set of grant programs designed to help farmers expand or improve their operations by providing industry representation and marketing opportunities. It includes the Statewide Agricultural Producer Association Grant Program and Farmers Market Grant Program. For example, the purpose of the latter is to increase income to Tennessee farmers by helping promote and/or improve farmers’ markets in communities throughout Tennessee, thereby helping farmers sell their locally grown farm fresh products directly to consumers.
