Program Description

The Healthy Built Environment Grants program funds the construction or planning projects that promote the physical, mental, and social health of communities, drawing on evidence-based strategies related to access to physical activity opportunities and access to healthy foods. Projects include the establishment of walking tracks, playgrounds, sports facilities, greenways, and parks, all which are available to the public at no cost.
