Program Description

The Tennessee Plant Optimization Program (TN POP) provides free resources to support water and wastewater operators in achieving optimization in energy use and nutrient removal for their facilities through low and no-cost measures. Eligible facilities can receive technical assistance, loaned equipment, cost savings opportunities, and supportive regulatory oversight to optimize nutrient treatment in wastewater treatment facilities to improve water quality.
