Program Description
The Tobacco Use Prevention & Control Program (TUPCP) administers, promotes, and evaluates programs and initiatives that prevent initiation and support tobacco cessation across the state. Public and private sector organizations partner to implement programs including community and youth engagement, policy development, the Tennessee Tobacco QuitLine, and the prenatal smoking cessation program. All programs are free to all Tennesseans and prevent youth initiation and support cessation attempts among the state’s nearly one million smokers.
